ENTERTAINMENT LOTUS < BACK
Entertainment Lotus awards brand-funded creative content and entertainment that is created or co-created seamlessly into a platform to engage consumers.

The decision of the Juries on Entertainment Lotus winner will be based on 4 criteria and weighted as follow:

          • Creativity/Idea/Insight (30%)
          • Strategy (20%)
          • Execution (20%)
          • Results (30%)


Each execution/campaign/set of execution constitutes one entry.

Fiction & Non-Fiction Film: Up to 5 minutes
 
Branded fiction & non-fiction film, series, documentaries, docuseries, reality film for TV, cinema, online, video-on-demand and streaming platforms.
Note: for series & docuseries, all episodes should be uploaded in a single video file with 3 seconds black/color between each episode

Fiction & Non-Fiction Film: 5-30 minutes
 
Branded fiction & non-fiction film, series, documentaries, docuseries, reality film for TV, cinema, online, video-on-demand and streaming platforms.

Use of live events that use branded elements to create an experience to the audience includes live stunts, exhibitions, events, expos & trade fairs, festivals, etc.

Live broadcast or online streaming.

Digital, Social & Emerging Technology
 
Websites, microsites, online banners, digital marketing, social media platforms, VR, AR, wearable technology, and other emerging technology.

User Generated Content
 
Use of content created by consumer whether through collaboration, content creation, or contribution. Use of generated content could be through audience engagement, distribution strategy, or other means.

Brand Integration & Sponsorships/Partnerships
 
Use of brand integration into an existing platform. Includes brand sponsorship & partnership collaborations.

Talent/Celebrity
 
Strategic collaboration with talents, celebrities, influencers, or KOLs to create content that engages consumers and enhance the brand. Includes fiction & non-fiction films, series, live stunts, exhibitions, events, expos & trade fairs, festivals, etc.

Games including apps and online games that engage consumers and enhance the brand.

Sports & eSports
 
Use of athletes, sports teams, sporting events or associations to create content that engages consumers and benefit the brand.

Integrated Entertainment Campaign
 
Campaign that effectively and seamlessly utilises multiple mediums.

Resilience Through Creativity
 
A special Lotus Award sub-category to recognize ideas and creative solutions that demonstrate resilience and resolve in the face of the Covid-19 global pandemic. It is awarded to works that rise above the crisis to create public, economic, cultural and/or other ideas for the greater good. The solutions may or may not be connected directly to the brand.
