Over the next few weeks, ADFEST will unveil its 2018 program and it’s shaping up to be our most transformative yet in our 21-year history! We’re delighted to announce our first speaker is one of our favourites – Paul Kemp-Robertson from Contagious.
Headquartered in London, Contagious is a consultancy that helps marketers gain a competitive edge through creativity and innovation. Paul’s session will explain “How to Win in 2018” by sharing four trends that will help marketing professionals future-proof their brands:
#1 Transparency Learn from the smart startups that are earning trust by creating new benchmarks around honesty and transparency.
#2 Culture Find out how brands are becoming part of the cultural conversation.
#3 Redefining masculinity Forward-thinking brands are avoiding toxic stereotypes by better representing modern masculinity, and this session will share examples of the brands who are doing this best.
#4 Agile long-termism According to Contagious, behaving as an agile long-termist is key to being a successful brand.
Paul Kemp-Robertson has presented at ADFEST several times since Contagious was born on the back of a beer mat in a London pub in 2004, and his session is always hugely popular.
Previous roles include helping to launch
shots magazine in 1990, before landing a role as Leo Burnett’s worldwide director of creative resources in Chicago in 1998. As co-founder of Contagious, Kemp-Robertson’s TED Talk on Alternative Currencies has been viewed more than 1.1 million times, while his book, T
