Yesterday, at noon, a bomb was dropped – our Young Lotus teams were given the brief that would dominate their lives for the next 24-hours.
ADFEST is hosting the 13th Young Lotus Workshop, and this year we are also humbly welcoming a first-time host, Cheil Worldwide Inc, who sent us the cream of their crop to host this year’s workshop.
Cheil yesterday gave the teams an exciting brief: come up with an idea to promote ADFEST!
“We want to send a message out to young creatives all over Asia Pacific that ADFEST is the un-missable festival where every year the best-of-the-best gather in the industry. We want to hold up the true meaning of the ADFEST brand to capture the imagination of budding talent to see the festival as their inspiration – a venue that can shape the type of creative they want to become,” says Wain Choi, Cheil’s Senior Vice President & Chief Creative Officer.
Wide-eyed and sitting in excitement, the 15 teams have been given only 24-hours to complete the challenge. It is now a race against the clock; a no-sleep-no-play scenario.
They must now put their heads together and produce an imaginative pitch to ‘woo’ the panel, in order to emerge victorious.
