Here are a few sessions to watch out for on Day One of ADFEST 2017. (Don’t forget to check out adfest.com for the full program)

NEXUS INTERACTIVE ARTS (London), Wed 22: 10.45-11.30

“My talk this year is about is Mixed Reality storytelling – where a story or experience literally breaks out of the screen and fills our sitting room. I'm going to do a deep dive into what it means to build stories that are intelligent, as in they know how they're being viewed or interacted with. The opportunities for mixed-reality storytelling, in regards to advertising or marketing, are utterly transformative,” says Luke Ritchie, Head of Interactive Arts at Nexus, London.

ADK (Tokyo + Singapore), Wed 22: 14.30-15.15

We both feel that to produce better ideas for our clients and communities, you have to step out and find the ‘truth’ behind a problem. As dads with young kids you don’t have an off button, you’re constantly on call to be imaginative and creative to an audience that demands honesty and innovation – they’re the real client,” says Gurney, Regional Executive Creative Director, ADK Global, Singapore.

ANGELA AND ITHYLE, INC. (Los Angeles), Wed 22: 16.00-16.45

“The Magic of High Touch is all about getting your hands dirty in the creative process and finding inventive ways to collaborate with creatives on a more primal level. I think that bringing creative ideas back to their basest elements is so important, especially in this age of digital and ‘we’ll fix it in post’,” says Ithyle Griffiths, Director at Angela and Ithyle, Inc. in Los Angeles.
