“AI removes the limits of production, but it brings us back to what matters most – why we create. And that is still human”
Julie Jihyun Kang is the Founder & CEO of Flux AI Asia, where she supports creators and brands to bring ideas to life more fluidly across platforms and formats, exploring how emerging creative technologies can support storytelling, expression, and creative flow. She is also the CEO & Managing Partner of Serviceplan Korea, leading the agency’s strategic and creative transformation across creativity, technology, and culture.
Kang is emphatic that AI’s value must always be anchored in a clear “why”, while it creates new creative opportunities. Truly impactful work, she says, emerges not from the technology itself, but from human intent directing it. She is also proud to be witnessing and contributing to the growth of Asian creativity and achievement on a global stage. She also shares her perspective from judging at ADFEST, emphasising the distinct voice, cultural depth, and rising influence of the region’s creative work.
