What does it take to win an award?
You gotta do good work, and not only this, but you have to aim for the goal because it's unpredictable, and you don't know what's happening in the judging room, so you need to do the best work possible that you can, and hopefully you're in the right position at the right time so that your work will go through all the discussions and earn the best award.

What is ADFEST all about?
For me, it's about seeing so many great works from different regions with different cultural sensibilities and fresh ideas and also discussing them with fellow jury members across disciplines, so you get a different perspective on things, and you learn a lot from them, so that's really an immersive experience and you go back home with such fresh ideas.

How does ADFEST serve the next generation of creatives?
I think ADFEST is a really valuable place for young creatives because in order to be the best, you have to learn from the best, and ADFEST is a fantastic place for distilling the most innovative, creative, inspiring, and effective work in the whole region; so if you're here, then you're immersed in like the best and most effective creativity.

What makes ADFEST important?
It's really important for people to come to ADFEST not only to look at the work that is being celebrated here but also to learn from a large number of industry leaders that have gathered to share their insights and knowledge, and expertise. There are terrific amounts of cultural insights from all of the countries that are represented in the Asian-Pacific region. There are lots of networking opportunities and lots of learning opportunities, as I mentioned earlier, and overall it's a fabulous place to come find inspiration.
