With 12 years of experience in the brand communication business, Bitop Das Gupta is a hybrid strategist with expertise in strategic thinking, creative communication, digital and content. He is with Grey Dhaka for more than 9 years and has risen up to be a home grown planner in an agency that believes in producing famously effective works. For every project he gets involved into, he keeps his eyes straight on coming up with solutions that can truly solve brands’ or business problems, resonate in the pop culture and lend fame to the clients. He has also played instrumental role in helping his agency enhancing the depth and breadth of their total integrated offering, embracing digital and data. His strategy style starts with unearthing the real problem, reaches the pinnacle by solving with creative ideas and realizes by making ways in the consumers’ journey. 

His contribution has helped Grey Dhaka win local and international award at Warc prize for Asian Strategy, Cannes Lions, ADFEST, Ad Stars and others. In 2016, he helped his agency, Grey Dhaka and his country Bangladesh win its first ever Cannes Gold Lion in Product Design Category for the project Eco cooler. Then in 2019, he has again played a very crucial role in winning 2 Silver Lions and 1 Bronze Lion for the much talked about UCB & Shwapno AgroBanking project. In 2020, he has won his first ever Grand Prix award and Category Disruptor award at Warc Prize for Asian Strategy. 

He has extensive insight and experience in a diverse range of industries, and he has created several famously effective integrated campaigns for Grameenphone (the biggest brand of the country), Coca-Cola, GSK, Nestle, International Cricket Council, HSBC, Digital Hospital, UCB, and many more. He also has a distinctive experience of driving a one of a kind social movement among the adolescents of Bangladesh.

Aside his passion for advertising, Bitop also has keen interest for culture hopping and sports.
