Sid Samodio is one of the Executive Creative Directors of McCann Worldgroup Philippines, where he’s handled brands for top clients such as Ayala Malls, BPI, First Gen Philippines, Jollibee, Nestlé, the Philippine Department of Tourism, Reckitt, Riot Games, San Miguel Beer, and UNILAB. He has led the creative team that worked on the highly successful and award-winning Kwentong Jollibee series of web videos.

Prior to joining McCann, he started out as a copywriter at Bozell Worldwide/FCB Manila in 1996, ultimately rising from the ranks to become Executive Creative Director. There, he helped launch the Talk ‘N Text brand, and worked as lead creative handling brands for Fonterra, Mondelez, PLDT/SMART, SC Johnson, and SM Malls. 

In his over 25 years of experience in the advertising industry, his work has earned metals or became finalists in the APAC Effie Awards, Tangrams, Kidlat Awards, Araw Awards, Boomerang Awards, APAC Tambuli Awards, and New York Festivals.

He has had multiple stints as a board member of the Creative Guild of the Philippines, helping organize and lead both the the Kidlat Awards and the Raw School for young creatives. 

Sid graduated with a double degree in Economics and Marketing Management from De La Salle University Manila, and is an avid gamer, comic book geek, and hoops nerd.
