Marianne is CEO of Hill and Knowlton Indonesia. She launched H+K Indonesia in 2020. 

She is also Asia’s head and director of Hill and Knowlton’s Innovation and Creativity hub.

Previously she was CEO of JWT and Wunderman Thompson Indonesia where she leads the team on a restructuring journey of Wunderman Thompson Indonesia, focusing on creative, data, tech and influence. 

Prior to that, Marianne was Ogilvy Indonesia’s Chief Growth Officer and Managing Director for both Ogilvy Public Relations and Pulse Communications in Indonesia, with responsibility for growing Ogilvy’s 360 business. She was also Head of Corporate Communications for Ogilvy Group in Indonesia.

Marianne is a 25+ years veteran in the Indonesian communications and marketing industry with specific experiences in issue and crisis management and has a particular expertise as a C-Suite counsel in communications, crisis, branding, marketing and public relations.

She also has extensive experiences with brand work and brand marketing, as well as an exceptional business and network in Indonesia and SE Asia.

As part of her responsibilities, she holds a strategic role in leading thought leadership initiatives and building business engagement with C-suite clients for integrated campaigns across the group.

Marianne’s work in 2015 -2017 for Bank of Indonesia and the high-profiled Nation Branding work for The Ministry of Tourism Indonesia have also been recognized locally and globally and received multiple awards.

She was also the lead advisor for Ministry of Tourism’s marketing department for 3 years in 2016 -2018, reporting directly to the Minister himself, which includes managing 2018’s Bali’s Mount Agung Eruption Crisis Communications and the Crisis Centre in both Bali and Jakarta.

She is also a visiting lecturer in several universities in Indonesia. 

She holds an Arts and Communications double major degree from University of Canberra, Australia.

Some of her recognised work were:
BUKALAPAK, Two Gold Medals in the 2016 SEA Marketing Media award for BUKAPALAK, an online (START UP) local digital market-place that connects small businesses in Indonesia for the Creative Economies Hero initiative. 

The two gold medals are for Best PR Consumer Campaign and PR-led 360 integrated communications campaign and a BRONZE in APAC’s 2016 TANGRAM Award.

2 times selected in 2017 and 2021 for Campaign Asia’s APAC WOMAN to WATCH

In 2019, she was also named 2019 Digital & Social Head of Agency – GOLD, by Marketing-Interactive

And recently, in 2021, Marianne is also selected as one of PRovoke's 2021 Innovator 25 for Asia Pacific
