Every year, ADFEST invites young directors, who have not directed more than 6 films in their film careers, from around the region to create a short film script based on a specific theme. This year’s theme is ‘REFRESH’, which is also the theme of ADFEST 2010, which takes places in Thailand on 18-20 March.
In total, 32 directors from around the Asia Pacific submitted scripts to this year’s Fabulous Four, but only four directors made the final cut after being judged by the region’s most influential and respected producers and creative directors. The identities of the new directors were kept anonymous from the jury members in the judging process.
