TOKYO: Thirasak Tanapatanakul is Worldwide Chairman at Creative Juice, Bangkok, and he was this year’s Jury President for Design Lotus and Print Craft Lotus.

ADFESTbuzz caught up with Thirasak, who is better known as ‘Guy’, to find out what he thought of this year’s Lotus candidates. Here’s what he said:

“The quality of entries in Design and Print Craft was superb this year. We saw a very high standard of work; it was a world-class level. Our shortlist was not so long, but the ones we gave metal to were very strong. There were several Gold winners in both categories, which shows the very high quality of crafting and execution in Asia.

“Overall, it’s been a super hot week. Comparing the weather in Tokyo to Thailand right now, it’s very hot! But we’ve seen lots of work and met lots of people. The Jury members were all very strong with very strong opinions, so it was a great experience.”
