OTHERS: DAVID GUERRERO, SATOSHI TAKAMATSU & JUREEPORN JUDEE THAIDUMRONG SELECTED TO JUDGE THE 5TH CUP
BANGKOK: Three of Asia Pacific’s most respected creative executives will represent the Asia Pacific region at The Intercontinental Advertising CUP 2011, which takes place on 26th- 27thJanuary in Istanbul, Turkey.


David Guerrero, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Guerrero/Proximity Philippines in    Manila has been appointed Chairman of Judges at THE CUP 2011.


He is joined by Satoshi Takamatsu, Founder and Chief Creative Director at GROUND in Tokyo; and Jureeporn Judee Thaidumrong, Creative Chairwoman at nudeJEH in Bangkok. (nudeJEH formed in 2011 through the merger of Jeh United and Nude Communication).


Guerrero, Takamatsu and Thaidumrong will join 9 other creative stars from around the world on THE CUP 2011’s jury panel. The trio were all Jury Presidents at ADFEST 2011: Guerrero was Jury President of Press Lotus and Poster Lotus; Takamatsu was Cyber Lotus Jury President; while Thaidumrong was Jury President of Film Lotus and Radio Lotus.


“There is something special about bringing together the best work from four independently-judged regional festivals. And it's a unique privilege to be leading a global jury that will determine the best of the best,” says Guerrero.


THE CUP brings together the crème de la crème of advertising campaigns created across four continents. Every year, shortlisted entries from ADFEST (Asia Pacific), FIAP (Ibero America), Golden Drum (Eastern Europe) and ADC*E (Europe) are entered into THE CUP, where they are judged by the highest-level international jurors.


Unlike other global advertising festivals, The CUP makes it possible for local creativity to be judged on a global scale by its local merit.


The 5th Intercontinental Advertising CUP awards ceremony and Intercontinental Creative Summit takes place on 26th- 27thJanuary 2012 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Istanbul.

The Intercontinental Advertising Cup was established in 2007 by organizers of the world’s three biggest regional advertising festivals: Asia Pacific’s ADFEST, Ibero-American FIAP and New European Golden Drum. From year one, ADC*E, Art Director’s Club of Europe, has also been a member.
