Donny's professional journey is a vibrant fusion of creativity and business acumen, seamlessly spanning the realms of both the advertising and music industries. His career began at Zomba Music Group's Jive Records, where he played a pivotal role in the marketing and distribution of chart-topping acts such as the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, and Jennifer Paige across Asia.

Fueled by a passion for film and media, Donny pivoted into the visual domain, armed with a Bachelor of Communications specialising in Media Arts and Marketing from Deakin University, Melbourne. During his six-year tenure at Infinite Frameworks, he led a dedicated team, orchestrating 3D, visual effects, and post-production for TV commercials, documentaries, and feature films on both regional and global stages.

In 2007, Donny was drawn back to the music industry, where he assumed the role of Senior Producer at Song Zu. His extensive background in visual post-production, coupled with an intimate knowledge of the Asian music scene, proved invaluable. Recognising his outstanding contributions, Donny ascended to the position of Executive Producer in 2016, and by July 2019, he became a partner in the esteemed Song Zu Group.

Donny's success as an executive producer shines through numerous award-winning campaigns, celebrated by prestigious institutions like the Clio Awards, ADFEST, and the CCAs, for renowned brands such as Singapore Airlines, Singapore Tourism Board, Google, Standard Chartered Bank, Tiger Beer, and Shell. Donny's influence also extends to the AICP award show, where he serves as an audio mix judge for two consecutive years.

The culmination of Donny's achievements and Song Zu's commitment to pushing creative boundaries resulted in the business's acquisition by Songtradr in 2021. This pivotal moment marked the evolution of Song Zu Sydney and Song Zu Singapore into MassiveMusic, a distinguished entity within the Songtradr family. At the helm of the Singapore office, Donny now serves as the Managing Director, steering the team towards new heights in 2022 and beyond.
