Shota Hatanaka has joined Hakuhodo in 2008 and engaged in planning work centered on activation design. 

He has developed a wide range of campaigns with a unique planning and creative style that eliminates the boundaries between the strategic, creative, digital, and PR, working seamlessly through the entire process.

His awards include Cannes Lions, One Show, Clio, D&AD, ADFEST, ADC, Spikes Asia, Young Cannes Lion Representative, and 10 Grand Prix with a total of over 150 international and domestic awards received. 

He was selected as a Direct Lions Jury of Cannes Lions 2018 and a Grand Jury of New York Festivals Advertising Awards 2020 and was also awarded 2018 Creator of the Year medalist in Japan.
