Brand Experience & Engagement Lotus awards creative works that have all brand building through the dimension of experience design, activation, immersive, retail and 360° customer engagement. Entries should demonstrate how the customer journey, experience of the brand and optimisation of every touch point led to increased brand affinity and commercial success.

The decision of the Juries on Brand Experience & Engagement Lotus winner will be based on the following criteria:

Use of Guerrilla Marketing
 
Any brand experience or engagement using guerrilla marketing including live stunts i.e, street teams, publicity stunts and street stunts to drive customers’ engagement.

Use of Live Shows/Concerts/Festivals
 
Any brand experience or engagement using big-scale events such as sport events, festivals, concerts, corporate entertainment, built stages, etc. to engage with customers.
BE03
Exhibitions and Installations
 
Any brand experience or engagement creating a space or using a more permanent feature to drive consumers engagement, including galleries exhibitions, fairs, trade shows, vending machines, floor graphics, transit advertising, etc.
Note: works entered into BE03 cannot be reentered into Digital Installation (BE13)

Use of Ambient: Small Scale
 
Any brand experience or engagement using the ambient media including items in bars & restaurants, glasses, beer mats & ashtrays, petrol pumps, flyers, stickers, signage, door hangers.
Note: ‘Small Scale' refers to the physical size of the object, not the quantitative volume or scale of distribution.

Use of Ambient: Large Scale
 
Any brand experience or engagement using the non-traditional outdoor/ 3D billboards including non-standard shaped sites, ticket barriers, signage, wallscape, digital billboards, window clings, building wrapping, helicopter banners and executions that utilise a space or an existing permanent feature, etc.
Note: ‘Large Scale' refers to the physical size of the object, not the quantitative volume or scale of distribution.

Any brand experience or activation using the merchandising and in-store activities to drive customer engagement with a brand.

Launch/Re-Launch
 
Any brand experience or engagement created to launch or re-launched a brand, product or service.

Any brand experience or engagement using competitions or promotional incentives used to drive customer engagement with
a brand.

Sponsorship & Brand Partnership
 
Any brand experience or engagement using partnerships and/or sponsorships that create immediate and long-term brand experiences or activations.

Use of Broadcast
 
Any brand experience or engagement using cinema, TV or radio & audio.

Use of Print or Conventional Outdoor
 
Any brand experience or engagement using print or conventional outdoor i.e newspapers, magazines, inserts, trade journals, posters, billboards, etc.

Use of Mobile & Devices
 
Any brand experience or engagement through the use of technology for mobile or other portable devices such as mobile app.
The work should show how it engages the consumers and lead to interaction with the brand.

Digital Installations
 
Any brand experience or engagement using an immersive large or small scale digital experiences and events which are set up to engage and strengthen relationships with consumers. This can include, but is not limited to VR/AR installations, motion chairs,
multi-screen and multi-dimensional experience.

Any brand experience or engagement using digital & social platforms enhanced a brand experience or engagement.

Integrated Campaign led by Brand Experience & Engagement
 
Programmes that use multiple mediums in one campaign which is initiated, led or driven predominantly by brand experience & engagement. Entries in this category must contain different media and will be judged on how successfully they have integrated the chosen elements or channels throughout the campaign.
