2016 saw the release of Curious produced feature film "The Hunt for the Wilder People" It premiered at Sundance Film Festival and went on to set a new box office record for a NZ film in both NZ and Australia and a top 10 all time film in NZ.

The session would be in 3 sections, 15 minutes of the process of developing and producing the film, 10 minutes discussing successful contemporary branded entertainment, 7 minutes overcoming challenges in the current environment 3 minutes of questions.

Matt Noonan is founder of Curious Ltd.

Curious has been awarded the highest accolades in advertising, including Cannes, D&AD, ADFEST, AWARD, Axis for productions such the NZTA Blazed, directed by Taika Waititi, Orcon with Iggy Pop, Air NZ's most Epic Safety Video ever, Tinnyvision for NZTA to mention but a few.

Curious was named Production Company of the Year for the Asia PAC region for the last two years running at the Ciclope International Advertising Craft Festival in Berlin.

As a film producer Matt’s the film Blue, won the Grand Prix at Cannes Critics Week 2011, as well as the Best Short Film at Brussels International Independent Film Festival 2011. The short film, Night Shift (2012), premiered in competition at Cannes Film Festival 2012 and Sundance Film Festival 2013 and the feature film Fantail (2013) premiered at IFFR 2014 and most recently Hunt For The Wilderpeople directed by Taika Waititi which has gone on to international acclaim after it’s premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2016.

Matt is an EP on Canadian / NZ production Turbo Kid (2015), which was the winner of the Midnighters Audience Award at SXSW 2015 and also featured in the Official Selection list for SXSW 2015 and Sundance Film Festival 2015 and Born To Dance which had is premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2015.

Matt is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Company Directors, the Screen Producers Association of Australia, The Producers Guild of American, NZPG and SPADA.
