ITHYLE GRIFFITHS

DIRECTOR

ANGELA AND ITHYLE, INC.

LOS ANGELES

Ithyle likes eating street food in countries where you probably shouldn’t eat street food. He likes ice cream in a cone, particularly from a rascally Turkish ice-cream vendor.

He can’t resist a Photo Booth. He likes to take pictures all of the time (the kind that move and also the kind that don’t).

He is a story teller and a magic maker. He creates films in collaboration with his wife and partner Angela. They make their home in Los Angeles but adventure the world in search of whimsy and…. ice cream in cones.

They are known for their creativity and magical sensibility. Their vision and technique have been instrumental in the popularity of high-touch commercial advertising in the United States and around the world. Some of their clients include Target, PepsiCo, Microsoft, Macy’s, Oppo, and MTV.

They have shown in film festivals all over the world including the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes Lions, GenArt FIlm Festival in New York and Los Angeles, FLUX at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the GoShort Film Festival in Nijmegen The Netherlands, and the Kodak PocketFest Short Film Festival in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, LiberArti Film Festival in Tuscany, Italy, the Crested Butte Film Festival in Colorado, as well as featured in such industry publications as Shoot Magazine's New Directors Showcase, Shoot Magazine's 10 Young Directors To Watch, Videography Magazine and PhotoCine News.
