MUSIC SAVES THE DAY: THE MAGIC OF MUSIC & MARKETING

NICK WOOD
With over 26 years of experience.. Emmy Award-winning composer and producer, Nick Wood, CEO and Creative Director of Syn Music, explores the vital role music can play in the digital age and why the commercial music industry in Asia is well positioned to be at the vanguard of a global creative powerhouse for Film, Television, and Advertising.

Wood puts forth two critical questions:

1) Are we using music’s power for storytelling to our best advantage, and
2) Why, more often than not, is music’s role in storytelling and brand identity more of an afterthought in the creative process than a starting point

In providing answers to these questions, Wood reminds us that music adds a vital dimension to commercial storytelling not only by enhancing emotions, but also by creating brands with a distinctive sonic identity.

“Music Saves The Day.” From storytelling to delivering emotion, Wood demonstrates that in a world where we now have an attention span less than that of a goldfish, music holds the power to be an ever-present messenger that intimately and immediately connects brands with their customers and cements an identity in a way no other medium can. Such is the power of music!

So how do we get there?
